Webinar: The PSR Method - by Steve Hudson
In the following webinar you will learn about the PSR Method (Presentation Skills & Reading), which was created by Steve Hudson after many years of research and training at the Royal National Theatre London and the BBC.
Just imagine how much more you could achieve in life if you knew the secrets of the worlds’ greatest communicators such as Dame Helen Mirren, Laurence Olivier, Meryl Streep, Jack Nicholson, Dame Judy Dench, Tom Hanks and leading voiceovers.
First of all you would be able to earn extra money as a voiceover in a business which has tremendous financial potential.
We all know people who would make better progress in life if they had more confidence. To be honest, I think we could all do with a bit more confidence because confidence affects everything we do; at work and socialising.
It’s all very well having a head full of knowledge and being ambitious, but you need a professional technique to express your ideas even more confidently and to be more persuasive.
And of course we would all like to increase our income by recording voiceovers for radio and television commercials or by being more confident and persuasive at work so you increase your chances of promotion.
In this webinar you will learn all about:
• How Steve became one of the world’s leading voiceovers and trainers
• The PSR Method and where it comes from
• Why you need a technique and how it will help you to become a successful voiceover
• We will teach you some elements from the PSR Method course
About Steve Hudson
Steve has been involved in thousands of television commercials as a presenter and voice over. You've heard him as Superman when he chased the evil Nick-o-tine across your screens in the famous million pound anti-smoking campaign and in the Old spice adverts he tells you it's "The Mark of a Man". You have heard him extolling the virtues of Gallo Wine. His voice advertises many other products including Kodak, Martini, Ford, Shell, Pentax, Guinness and milk on Swiss television! He can also be heard regularly on Radio 5 South Africa and Radio 3 Tokyo, and is the Voice of Rock on 100FM Pakistan. Steve was auditioned for the part of James Bond but lost by an eyebrow to Roger Moore.
Steve Hudson has been a voice over and television presenter for 20 years and in this time has won a number of awards for production and performance. Steve also runs seminars at the Actors Centre, advising actors on how to start in the voice over business. During a Master Class he recently ran on Talk Radio, listeners were invited to read a voice over live on air. It was so popular that a second programme is being planned.
Voice Master has recently been accredited by the Law Society.
About the PSR Method
The PSR Method is a life skill that will make you more confident and will give you the ability to communicate and persuade more effectively. This method is used to train anyone who wants to be a voiceover or be more successful at work or socially.
It is so important that it is now being introduced into schools. The PSR Method is also making a difference for children with dyslexia.
Voice Master trains not only BBC and SKY newsreaders and reporters, actors and voiceovers, but also nurses, politicians, taxi drivers, lawyers, teachers and secretaries; in fact anyone who wants to earn extra money as a voiceover or want to improve their communication skills.
It gives you the ability to read a script, book or autocue 95% perfectly first take - without rehearsal and in an exact time.
The Seven Elements of the PSR Method
• Read and speak slowly
• Read and speak with energy and enthusiasm
• starting and ending sentences
• Creating blocks of information
• Read and speak softly
• Recognise Red Flag Words
• Putting it all together
When you have a technique it puts you in charge, you have less to worry about and more time to relax, smile and show your natural personality.
