We have gathered some pointers that will increase your chances of being successful on the site:
- Submit auditions only when a project perfectly fits your skills, experience and voice. This goes against the common thought of auditioning more for booking more. Our experience has proven that auditioning for the right things is what gives you more bookings, better rankings and more repeat business.
- Upload at least 1 demo in each one of the categories you have listed in your profile that you can do. This will increase your exposure and maximize the opportunities of being invited first to SmartCast projects, as this is one of the factors that it takes into account during the matching process. Also, voice seekers use our search talent feature to contact talents directly, they are more likely to contact voice actors who have demos in the category that they are looking for.
- Use the remarks section of your auditions, to let the voice seeker know, very briefly, why you are the perfect voice for their project and what they are buying if they decide to hire you. Avoid repeating info that is already found on your profile.
