AI and Text-to-Speech (TTS) projects

Starting June 1st, 2026 all AI/TTS projects will be handled via our Enterprise service, subscription or a pay-per-project scheme. 

To promote transparency and foster trust with voice actors, and in collaboration with NAVA, we’ve updated our guidelines for AI and Text-to-Speech (TTS) projects. These projects can now be managed in two ways:
 

Option 1: Voice123 Enterprise

Our Enterprise solution is designed for companies that want full project management and a streamlined experience. With Enterprise, we'll handle everything for you, including:

• Dedicated project management
• Curated, professional voice-over talent
• Full casting coordination
• Quality control
• Payment processing

Option 2: Pay-Per-Project Fee

A flexible option if you prefer to pay only when you post. The fee for AI/TTS projects is $350 USD per project; it must be paid upfront through our Customer Success team. Once approved and paid, your project will be live on your account.

If you don't need a full managed service like Enterprise but have a higher volume, we offer a subscription model based on your project volume. Request a quote here, and we’ll customize a plan to meet your needs!
 

Requirements for AI/TTS Projects

To ensure compliance with industry standards (in collaboration with NAVA and our voice actors), your projects must meet the following criteria:

• No “in perpetuity” usage unless reviewed and approved by our executive team.
• Only verified corporate email addresses can be used to post AI/TTS projects.
• Proposals and samples remain the property of voice actors and require appropriate compensation for use.
• Clear disclosure of future licensing or sub-licensing must be included in project descriptions.
• All payments must be processed through Voice123.

To avoid delays, all AI/TTS projects must include answers to these questions in the description:

• Please provide a copy of your default agreement for voice actors
• Is the voice for training data?
• Will the voice be replicated?
• Will the data be sold or sub-licensed?
• What is the intended use of the recording?
• How long will the voice data be used?
• Is exclusivity required?
• What is the estimated total budget, and will there be royalties?
